As you are probably aware, Vending Revolution base their model on giving 5% to charity and therefore saving on site commisions.
In theory, sounds great. The practice however is somewhat different.
Surely, if the model was sound, then you'd give 5% of your profit to charity?
Oh no, Vending Revolution require that you pay 5% of turnover........hmmmm!
So whether the operator makes money or not, the charity and Vending Revoultion get paid. The operator is operating at a loss, as turnover does not take into account:
1) Fuel costs
2) Out of Date Stock
3) Operators time
4) Stock Costs
5) Insurance costs
6) Staff
7) Accountancy fees
The first thing that people ask, when siting a machine is "How much of that pound goes to charity?"
Funny, I'm not sure that any business would give up floor space knowing that only 5% goes to charity?
Amazingly, Vending Revolution never mention it when siting......
